Golf Journey:
Byaruhanga Justus grew up near a golf course (Fort Portal Police Barracks), where he was introduced to the sport at an early age. Watching golfers daily sparked his passion for the game. He recalls being inspired by the sight of players on the course and dreaming of the day he could join them.
His opportunity came when AFRIYEA Golf Academy was established at Toro Club, and he eagerly embraced the chance to pursue his dream of playing golf.
Achievements:
Inaugural Sustainability Junior Golf Open (January 2024): Justus clinched victory with a score of 78.
2024 Kids Par 3 Golf Challenge (February 2024): He emerged as the champion after a sudden-death playoff with Rachael Laura Natukunda at Toro Golf Club in Fort Portal.
Fort Portal Junior Golf Camp 2024 Challenge (August 2024): Justus secured the runner-up position in the 18-hole category with a net score of 68.
