As we transition from the dry season to the rainy season in August, the clouds are promising more rain in the days ahead. Now, let’s dive into our golf programs.
Golf has been a key focus for us, and we are proud to say that we have made significant progress in expanding its reach. Our goal has been to introduce golf to new schools and communities, giving children from underrepresented groups and underserved areas the opportunity to experience the joy of the sport. It has been truly heartwarming to see the smiles on their faces as they play golf for the first time.
We are dedicated to teaching both the technical skills and the intrinsic values of the game to these children.

Throughout July, our training programs on the course and our outreach initiatives were designed to cater to the best interests of our golf students. We aimed to provide an interactive and enjoyable learning experience. Students from the Tooro Parents Education Center attended training sessions on the course, and our outreach golf training sessions reached various schools, including Bukwaali Primary, St. Paul’s Junior, Green Circle, and Watoto Nursery in Bukwali, among others. This collective effort has led to a significant increase in the participation of both girls and boys in the game.
In our pursuit of innovation, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the Kids Golf Podcast. This platform allows young aspiring golfers from the AFRIYEA Golf Academy to share their personal golf journeys, inspirations, challenges, and successes. By facilitating these conversations, we aim to help children not only discover their talents but also explore other avenues beyond the golf course.
