
Joseph Cwinyaai, a member of Toro club and national team captain registered a -2 under par at the par 70 course during the weekend in fort portal to win the 4th edition of the Tusker Malt tournament which was held in the serene of Uganda’s tourism city Fort Portal.

Joseph mortified the gross players and as continuous with his great performance following his latest win at the Equity Rwenzori open.
The national team captain and coach of the AFRIYEA golf academy which is the satellite and Principal Golf Academy on the continent of Africa has continued to use his talent to inspire the young generation in the sport of golf in Uganda.
He attributes his success to commitment to the sport and his tireless pursue of excellence for excellence.

The event which attracted 61 Players from different golf clubs such as Kilembe mines golf club, Mbarara, Uganda golf club, Namulonge among others.
Amon Bwambale, a student of afriyea golf academy and a student Seeta high school came in the second position in the gross category showcasing nascent of one of the best golf junior golfers in the country.

Amon returned a gross score of 70 to emerge the second in the hotly contested category that had Ugandan’s celebrated players such as Habib Kisande, Abdul Cachet, and Peter Kisembo among others.
Fresh from winning the Entebbe ladies open Peace Kabasweka toppled the ladies to win herself the overall prize with 74 gross over the weekend.
