As the world strives for inclusivity, this year’s Ladies Open will break new ground by combining it with the Seniors Open. This innovative step not only signifies unity within the sport but also catalyzes encouraging more female golfers to participate.
While the focus is on promoting unity and inclusivity, the tournament organizers have also taken great care to ensure young talents are not overshadowed. With dedicated categories and honors, junior golfers will have the opportunity to showcase their skills on a grand stage. This approach is meant to inspire and foster the growth of future stars, giving them a chance to shine in the spotlight.
Peace Kabasweka, the Lady Captain at Toro Club, expressed her delight at ABSA Bank Uganda’s sponsorship of the tournament. Recognizing the shared values between the bank and the club, collaboration was a natural choice.
This partnership is a significant milestone for both entities, highlighting their commitment to the growth and development of golf in Uganda.
